
Erasmus summer course in Romania 9-22 Aug 2010
Set in the grasslands of Romania,
this summer course
will give you knowledge about
European grasslands, including
classification, distribution,
general ecology as well
as species ecology, utilisation
and management. One specific
aim will be to recognize the
particularities and the value
of Romanian grasslands as a
highlight on European level.
This is the first course of three and will be followed by summer courses in Sweden (2011) and Germany (2012). The courses will have different foci within the over all theme “Classification, evaluation and management of grassland” but can be taken separately.
The course is given by the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences within an Erasmus cooperation with Albert Ludwig’s University, Freiburg in Germany and The Agricultural University of CLuj- Napoca in Romania (USAM V-Cluj).
